I will marry an abusive rich lady than poor loving one - Actor

Comedian and actor, Samuel Nana Yaw Dabo, popularly known as Dado, has revealed that he would love to marry a lady from an affluent home.

According to him, that would help relieve him of the financial stress that emanates from poverty.

He made this revelation in an interview with Captain Smart on the special Independence Day edition of Dwaso Nsem on Adom FM on March 6.

The Kumawood actor said he is yet to get married but he would prefer to marry someone who has the financial muscle to cater for the family in his absence.

He recounted a friend’s bitter experience to buttress his point stating that the friend was called by his wife from the house while they were on location shooting a movie at 2 a.m.

She told her husband that their child was not feeling well and she did not have money to take the child to the hospital which made his friend abandon the job to go home to take the child to seek medical attention.

“Had my friend marry a rich lady or someone from a rich background, he would not have gone through all these stress,” stressed.

Dabo went further to explain that he is willing to be with an abusive rich lady than to marry a poor one.

He, however, said that he likes light skinned women as compared to dark ladies.

“Even Nadia Buari is dark skinned as compared to the type of lady I want,” he said.
