President Akufo-Addo to get tough on piracy in music and movie industries

President Akufo-Addo has hinted of the establishment of a robust film Authority similar to that of the Nollywood in Nigeria.

The establishment of the Authority, is to provide a base for a vibrant movie economy as being experienced in other parts of the world.

President Akufo-Addo dropped the hint at the 10th musical celebration of the Ghana International School.

President Akufo-Addo said his government will get tough on piracy in the music and movie industries adding that, government will build multi-purpose theatres in Kumasi, Takoradi and Tamale
