Ghana defender Baba Rahman is in line to make a
quicker than expected return to the pitch this season after showing
tremendous improvement in his healing progress.
The 22-year-old left back injured his left knee while in action for the Black Stars against the Cranes of Uganda in Gabon.
Rahman who was a loan at Schalke 04 from Chelsea saw his season
truncated by the injury and has since been undergoing treatment in
Germany in a bid to push through his return.
According to new developments in Germany the defender has shown massive
improvement since undergoing the knife in Augsburg and doctors are
silently optimistic that he could return two months ahead of schedule.
Schalke are still in the UEFA Europa League and the defender could play a
part if the team makes it to the final of the competition
