Asamoah Gyan makes huge difference on injury return to provide assist in Al Ahli win

 

Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan made a return from injury and provided the assist in Al Ahli's 2-1 win Al Jazira in the Arabian Gulf League on Saturday.

Gyan limped off Al Ahli's Champions League defeat against Uzbek side Lokomotiv last week.

But the striker was introduced on the hour to replace Waleed Hussain and made a huge difference.

His shot across was met by Everton Ribeiro who connected home for the match winner on 85 minutes.
