Black Stars 'B' assistant Maxwell Konadu picks positives from Benin stalemate

Max KonaduBlack Stars “B” assistant Coach Maxwell Konadu admits his side’s 1-1 draw with Benin was a real test for the team.

The home-based Black Stars side drew with their counterparts from Benin in an international friendly on Thursday.

The game was also used as part of the team’s preparation for the upcoming WAFU tournament.

Konadu speaking with the Press after the game said his side has drawn a lot of positives from the test match against Benin.

“It was a big test for us, the Benin team is a very good team, as you saw, they played some good football as well,” he said.

“We picked some positives and we are going to work on our lapses, it was a very good test for us.”
