Minnows Bolga All Stars claimed a valuable point
on the road, holding Ashgold 1-1 draw in week 9 of the Ghana Premier
League on Sunday at the Len-Clay Sports Stadium.
Ashgold who are still coming to terms with the resignation of their
former coach Bashir Hayford opened the scoring but were pegged back late
on.
The Miners were presented with a golden opportunity to score in the 3rd
minute but striker Hans Kwoffie fluffed his line from the penalty spot
with goalkeeper Abdul Aziz Sulemana making the save.
They finally scored in the 66th minute through Shafiu Mumuni but Bolga
All Stars were on hand to equalise in the 72nd minute through striker
Noah Neequaye.
All Stars then closed ranks and managed to hold on for a valuable point.
