Ghanaian international Christian Atsu continued his blistering form for Newcastle United by scoring his fifth goal of the season as they defeated Cardiff 2-0 in the English Championship on Friday evening.
The winger scored from a superb free kick in the 55th minute of the game.
Atsu curled from the edge of the box to give his side the lead.
Isaac Hayden got the second for Rafa Benitez’s side with a wonderful strike in the 65th minute.
The on-loan Chelsea player has been inspiring for Newcastle United this season with reports indicating the Megpies could be signing him on a permanent deal.
