Newly appointed Black Stars Coach Kwesi Appiah will have his first test against Ethiopia in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
The former Al Khartoum trainer will lead the team for the first time in
his second stint in charge of the team when the East African country
travel to play the West African giants.
Appiah was re-appointed as head Coach of the senior National team on
Tuesday afternoon after impressing in an interview with the Ghana
Football Association.
The 53-year-old is returning as head trainer of the Black Stars, three
years after he was sacked from the same position for failing to
supervise Ghana to excel at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
He will be in charge when the Black Stars host Ethiopia in the first game of the 2019 AFCON qualifiers in June.
